This resort offers 90,000 square feet of function space including a hair salon, health spa, and a fully equipped fitness center. Recreational options include two outdoor pools with an infinity edge and a swim-up bar, a 90-foot heated lap pool, and a 10-person spa tub. Q: What is the weather like?
A: Thanks to the warm gulfstream winds and balmy trade winds, Grand Bahama Island has sub-tropical weather which is generally pleasant year round. Average temperatures range from 84° F (29°C) in the summer and 74° F (23°C) in the winter.
Q: Where are the games played?
A: All games are played at the local St. Georges High School and only a 10 minute drive from the resort. Practices will be held at St. Georges and other local high schools.
Q: What is there to do outside of attending the games?
A: There are plenty of sightseeing and outdoor excursions on Grand Bahama Island. Basketball Travelers can book you a snorkel trip, a swim with the dolphins, and attendance to the Thanksgiving Team Banquet. The resort has daily activities like bingo, lawn bowling, pool games, and the Port Lucaya Marketplace in its backyard. With free entertainment, restaurants, and bars you can shop, eat, or interact with the locals in a very safe environment.
Q: How do I get tickets for the games?
A: If you purchased the package, then you receive a tournament pass to all the games. If you are purchasing a room only or are staying a different hotel, you can purchase game tickets at the game site. All-Tournament Passes are $65 for adults and $30 for children ages 5-12. Under age 5 is free.
Q: What currencies are accepted?
A: The national currency is the Bahamian dollar (BSD), which is typically on par with the U.S. Dollar.

A: Cell phones will work, however international roaming charges may apply depending on the US mobile carrier. The resort also includes complimentary WiFi, which can be activated from any Mobile device eliminating those annoying roaming charges.
